Yes, that’s right! Today is my 26th birthday! However, I don’t feel like getting older but still get younger every time I have my birthday. And haven’t been there with a single white hair yet. Sadly, I sort of have a little bald spot…and have no choice but accept it, no matter what!

I got the nice OSU (Oklahoma State University) wool cap from one of my trainers at my work. BUT….Where’s my birthday cake?!?!?!?! (shook the fist in the air)

Guess what? The TV news cameraman is videotaping me. Oh no…don’t tell me that I am famous for that. However, I just feel so weird about that. I will tell you some detail about that.

Last Wednesday, I had a job evaluation with my supervisor and manager of New Business Department. And they handed me a paper that tell how good I performed at the work such as dress code, how excellent I am doing at the work, communicated with co-workers, and among few others related to my job. And guess what? The paper said that I am doing excellent on every paper. That means 2nd rank out of five. Outstanding is highest but very few people got them. So, my raise was base on the evaulation and gave me a 75 cent gain. And it increased my wage from $7.50 to $8.25. Not bad, is it? And I will get another job evaluation and a possible raise again in nine months from now. Oh yea, I almost forgot to tell you a thing or two. I have been dubbed with a title “Jr. SOA Clerk” now. How exciting…guess so. And last thing, my supervisor and manager told me if I want to work for Informational Tech (IT), then I have to waiting and be patience until there are an available position in IT Dept somewhen. I need that job badly because of my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. And can’t afford to waste it for nothing, right?

Wow, I got back from the work at Reserve National Insurance Company this evening even if my work hours are little bits overtime. Because they want me and other people in New Business Department catch up the deadline by end of this week. It’s something that I don’t expect at all.

“Expect the unexpected.”

Blah! My point is which I made lots of mistakes which is somewhat my trainer’s fault for not being clear about how the policy checking works exactly. And that’s normal of people made lots of mistakes on their first day of work. And I had a 45-minute lunch break. Forty-five minute for lunch break? Come on and give me a break and a full-hour long of lunch instead of. However, at least the time really flew when I work which is a GOOD thing for me. And I earn nearly ten long hours minus forty-minutes of lunch break. That means I had been work from 7:45 am until 5:55 pm. At least my wage is at the seven dollars and fifty cents per hour. I can’t complain about that because I want to earn the money for my survival’s sake. And I wait and see what my second day of work is like. That’s it for now.

My apology for lack of update my weblog for so long because I have been busy with lots of things lately. I have some good news for you guys and gals.

Yesterday, I went to Reserve National Insurance Company for had a job interview there and came out with good news. Guess what it is? Finally, it’s a job what I came out with and will start on Monday. Don’t ask me if I am excited for getting a job but I feel so happy to have a job, PERIOD.

And I have other different news; I might move out and move in the new place with different guys but we wait and see if we are being accepted and approved by the landlord. Hope it will go well someday and will keep you some updates in future.

Oh brother. I can’t wait for Oklahoma Deaf Happy Hour coming up this Saturday because it feels like somewhat forever until next event. Once, it starts then I will be busy as heck for sure.
