Home Sweet Oklahoma Home!
Ahhh, Home Sweet Oklahoma Home! Because I just got back to home from Dallas yesterday where I flew out of Texas to Minnesota for visited my friends up there. Dang, it’s pretty cold up out there but Minnesotan people laughed at me but I would laugh at them when it comes to Oklahoma/Texas Heat.
On Tuesday afternoon, I went to Fort Worth for visited Sam Dunn where I plan to spent the night at his place after help him out on moved his stuffs into his storage. Next day, he took me to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) Airport for drop me off there on Wednesday early morning where I flew out to Minnesota to meeting my friend up there. After I arrived to Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP), I stumbled into my friend Amber, her school friend Kendra, and Amber’s dad, Gordon while they tried to look for the right gate from the information center. All I do was save their trouble for looking for me. Mwahaha…then we went to Mall of America (MoA), United States’ a largest mall. Oh my god, MoA did sure done a good job to confuse me and got me lost for few times. The MoA have a shape of an eye in a box with four floors plus mini roller coasters, Lego Playground, Underwater Adventure, and among other neat things. During MoA trip, I met Kendra’s boyfriend, Jason. Then we went to separate our ways around Mall of America for most of the days to browse and explored around especially playing the Checker game (Oh man, Amber kicked my butt!).
After MoA, Kendra, Amber, Gordon, and me were on the way back to Amber’s house where I spent the nights there for five days and four nights. How fun it was. After arrived to the house, I finally met Amber’s mother Judy then we get know along with each other little bits while have a good time to playing the card games where I introduced Kendra and Amber to Gin Rummy while we had the pizza that night then it’s time for Kendra’s Hair Dye where Judy help Kendra to dye her hair to reddish hair. And later, I farewell Kendra to go back to home where Gordon drop her off then had a nice chat with Judy until Amber and Gordon got back then joined up with our chatterbox.
Next day, it was Gordon’s birthday on March 24th. I did already wish him a happy birthday on that day. Amber’s mom was gone to her classes at college while I looked around to pick one of the movies that they have for me to watching “Legally Blonde 2″ with Amber. That movie was so weird but FUBAR! During that movie, Amber got a friend named Jessica (or Sej) dropped by and visited her then later left to work. After the movie was over, we went to the hardware store then out to the restaurant to eat for celebrated Gordon’s birthday there. Also, it’s my pleasure to meet Amber’s Uncle Denny and Aunt Ruth. However, they were fun but interesting to chat with then we rent three movies (”Friday Night Lights”, “Fat Albert”, and “Ladder 49″) to watch later that night. It’s very enjoying to watch two of those movies that night.
On Friday morning, we left back to Hutchinson where Amber had an appointment. During that time, I got a chance to getting know with Gordon more time but funny thing, we chatted with each other through the Sidekick2 and went to the store to return the movies back then went to a car wash for cleaned the suburban and came back to the clinic where Amber and her mom were at earlier. And Herrig family gave me a little tour around Hutchinson, Dassel, and Darwin (that’s where World’s Largest Twine Ball is located at) then we had a weird lookin’ Mexican fast food called Zantigo (it’s okay but not that best). Gordon wants to go visit his parent and I did met Gordon’s parent there. Wow, it’s impressed that they lives right next to Mississippi River, which got me jealousy because they have a good window, view to see the nice river. O’well! We went back to the house. Later, Amber introduced me to the card game called Cribbage. Oh man, that game kicked ass. For first time, I played that game and oh gosh, I whipped Amber’s parents’ butt so badly. Big thanks to my Beginner’s Luck and Amber’s assistance. Oopsy? We got relax to watch the movie “Ladder 49″ (that movie is pretty good, wow but grrr at Amber tend to fall asleep during the movies in the nighttime).
Next day, we stayed at home for most of the time for watching the movie “Sling Blade”. During that movie, Gordon grilled the steaks (and chicken for Amber) and baked potatoes for our lunch “country-like” meal. Yummy yummy! And then we went to Hutchinson again for meet Uncle Denny, Aunt Ruth and family friend at Subway’s then went to Wal-Mart for them to getting stuffs. Finally we farewell them a good-bye and went to home then later played more Cribbage games where Amber and me were teammate. So were Judy and Gordon. More like two-on-two team. I think Amber and me won three or four times but lost one game to them. Oh yea, Judy got impressed about my quick-learning skill. Oops again? I feel like I want to walked outside around but Amber joined up with me to keep me company while enjoy the starry night brighten by a moonlight until my body finally gave in to the Minnesotan cold wind and we went back to the house to warm ourselves up then watch the Saturday Night Live when the slut Paris Hilton was a guest starred on. Till it’s a bed time for me.
On Sunday morning, we got ready to leave to their church there around 7:30 o’clock in the morning and do their things for worship stuffs until we are ready to leave back to home where i supposed to re-packed my stuffs back into the my bag while Amber helped me on that. Later, we went to the restaurant where I met Judy’s parent there and saw Uncle Denny and Aunt Ruth for third time…it’s getting enjoy to chat with them. Afterward, we are on the way back to Twin Cities for check out the Capitol around until its time for leave to MSP Airport where I fly back to DFW. During the waiting, we chatted little bits more time until the time get closer and closer for my departure time and gave my thanks to Gordon and Judy for let me spending the nights at their house and many other things that I enjoyed with. I farewell them a good-bye wave and Amber gave me one more hug before I go then left back to DFW where Sam picked me up then spend the night at his apartment after informed Amber and her family that I got back home safe and sound.
On Monday morning, I got to help Sam to move his three or four more things to his storage and then done with that, he gave me a key to his place where I got rest while he’s gone to work. Until then, I got to ready to leave back to home but before that, I went to where Sam work for return his key back then went back to Oklahoma.
What a great vacation but I found out that Amber told me that her parent told her that I am more than welcome to visit them again anytime in the future. That’s my plan in future but I can’t wait for Amber comes visit me in Oklahoma where I will give her a tour around Oklahoma.
